The Prestige A La Carte Cook 'n' Steam is ideal for dry frying, shallow frying, sauteing, braising or one or two level steaming. It has a quick release detachable power probe with variable temperature control and the non-stick coating on the frypan base allows for healthy cooking and easy cleaning. As a steamer, it can be used either with one or two baskets which of course saves energy since an entire meal can be prepared using its 1500 watt power source. When not in use, the steaming baskets collapse neatly and fit into the base. The complete unit can be submerged in water when not connected to the power source and the heat resistant base makes it ideal for serving at the table. The close fitting glass lid retains flavours and gives 'see-through' cooking convenience. Stay-cool handles are comfortable to use and allow safe handling. The Cook 'n' Steam is guaranteed for 2 years.
