Schlemmertopf (SCH_21849)

Not strictly a pan, but an ingenious piece of cookware none the less.

The original Schlemmertopf is more commonly known as a clay baker. Prepare meals without the addition of fats and oils. The food's natural liquids, flavours, tastes, nutrients and vitamins are retained within the cooking pot.

Before use, immerse the pot and lid in cold water for 10 minutes then put in the meat and/or vegetables and place the pot in an oven. At 220°C - 250°C naturally generated steam will do the cooking for you. When the roast is ready, place the pot on the table and the pleasing rustic decor makes it a perfect centrepiece.
