Created by the renowned manufacturer Meyer, Prestige has become synonymous with household cooking in the UK and many other markets - the brand has been trusted and respected by consumers for over 50 years. Meyer was first set up in 1951 but it wasn't until 1971 that Stanley Cheng, the son of the founder, and today's President and Chief Executive, recognised the potential of the cookware business and started the production of aluminium non-stick pans. This production became so successful that they phased out other products to concentrate on the new cookware lines. Today, Meyer cookware is manufactured by affiliated factories all over the World and has become the World's leading manufacturer of Hard Anodised Cookware. In addition to manufacturing cookware, they also manufacture over 90 percent of the materials used to make the product including corrugated materials used for packaging, stainless steel handles, rivets and stainless steel lids. Combined with a number of organisations globally, Meyer factories produce more that 30 million pans a year and sell over 100 cookware lines in more than 30 countries!
